Medical and Health Recruitment Board, Assam invites online application in the website https://nhm.assam.gov.in from the intending candidates having Indian Citizenship as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the (Constitution of India) for filling up under mentioned posts in Nursing Colleges of Assam under Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Assam in the scale of pay as indicated below.

Details of Vacancies:
Name of Posts: Lecturer in Nursing Colleges of Assam
Number of Post: 28 (Twenty eight).

Scale of Pay: Rs. 57,700/-1,82,400/- (Academic Level-10) plus other allowances as applicable from time to time as per Govt. Rules. 

Age: The candidate should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2019. The upper age limit is relaxable by

• i. 5 years for SC/ST candidates i.e. upto 43 years
• ii. 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. up to 41 years.
• ii. For Persons with Disabilities (PwD) by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of candidates as per Govt. Notification.

Applicable educational qualification is mentioned against each category of post.

Desirable Qualification:

1. Ph.D. (Nursing) and teaching experience in concerned speciality.
2. Weightage will be given to candidates presently serving under Regulation 17B of MHRB Regulations in Nursing Colleges under health & Family welfare Department, Government of Assam. Such candidates can apply directly to MHRB as NOC from Stale Government is not required for this purpose.

Process of recruitment:

• The selection procedure will be notified later on by issuing addendum.
• Board will decide the provision for selection in respect of any post/posts considering the status, cadre and grade or the number of applications received for the advertised post/posts.

Application fees: 

1. Application must be accompanied with required application fee of Rs.250/- (rupees two hundred fifty) only for General category candidates and Rs. 150/- (rupees one hundred fifty) only for OBC/MOBC/SC/ST (P)/ST (H) candidate.
2. No application fee is required for candidates having BPL certificate and PwD certificate.
3. Application fee should be deposited only through Treasury Challan in the Head of Account ‘02 10-Medical and Public Health-01 -Urban Health Services-800-Other Receipt’.

Terms and Conditions:

1. Candidates need not submit any testimonials/ certificate at the time of submission of online application. However, candidates have to produce their original testimonials regarding educational qualification, date of birth. caste, EWs, PWD, working experience etc. at the time of interview. Self-attested copies of all testimonials/certificates will have to be submitted to the Board at the time of interview.
2. Application form, which is incomplete in any respect, such as, without photograph and signature, is liable to be rejected summarily.
3. Only those candidates who fulfill all the terms and conditions of the advertisement in respect of the post for which they are applicants shall be entertained. Others need not apply.
4. The Candidates who are already in the Govemnment service other than working under 178 of MHRB, shall have to produce “No Objection Certificate” from the present Employer at the time of document verification before Viva-Voce/Interview and they will have to produce release order issued by earleer employer at the time of Joining.
5. The Board reserves the right to cancel, alter or modify the advertisement or other terms and conditions of the advertisement without any prior notice.
6. All other matters which are not specifically provided in this advertisement shall be decided by the Board.
