A walk-in-interview will be held on 04-11-2019 at 11:00 AM, for filling up three positions of JRFs on contractual basis. The appointment will be purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The appointment may also be terminated at any time without any notice or assigning any reason thereof.

Understanding the mechanisms of resistance to sucking pest, Helopeltis theivora and development of microbe-based bioformulation against major tea pests DBT’s Sanction Order No. BT/PR24618/NER/95/779/2017

Qualification:

a) Essential

(i) Master degree in Life science, Agriculture

(ii)  NET  qualified

b) Desirable - Knowledge of Entomological studies

Remuneration: Rs. 31,000/-+8% HRA per month for 1st and 2nd year and  Rs. 35,000/-+8% HRA for 3rd year

Age limit: 28 yrs (with relaxations as per existing DBT rules)

Development of bio-rational non-chemical based IPM package for live wood eating termite, a devastating pest of tea plantation in North East India NTRF’s Sanction Order No.  NTRF 17(461)/2018/6862

b) Desirable - Knowledge of Entomological studies/ Soil science/ Soil Microbilogy/ Mycology/ Biotechnology

Remuneration: Rs. 20,000/-+15% HRA per month for 1st and 2nd year and  Rs. 22,000/-+15% HRA for 3rd year

Age limit: 28 yrs (with relaxations as per existing DBT rules)

Intending candidates having the requisite qualifications may report for interview on the scheduled time and date. The applicants are required to submit application on plain paper enclosing the bio-data mentioning qualification and experiences, along with self attested copies of certificates/testimonials and one passport size photo. The original copies are also required to be produced at the time of interview.
