Applications are invited in Standard form of application from the eligible candidates for filling up the following posts on Contractual basis for a period of 11 (Eleven) months with a fixed monthly remuneration of Rs. 11.000.00 (Rupees Eleven thousand) only per month in different establishment of Assam State Transport Corporation as per following categories:
1. Electrician (Auto)
  • Vacancy Position: 20
  • Qualification: 2 years Certificate course in respective trade from recognized ITI/ITC. 
2. Welder
  • Vacancy Position: 12.
  • Qualification: 2 years Certificate course in respective trade from recognized ITl/ITC. 
3. Mechanics (Motor vehicle/Diesel).
  • Vacancy Position: 30.
  • Qualification: 2 years Certificate course in respective trade from recognized ITI/ITC.
4. Fitter.
  • Vacancy Position: 10.
  • Qualification: 2 years Certificate course in respective trade from recognized ITI/ITC.

Salary: Rs. 11.000.00 (Rupees Eleven thousand) only per month
Age: Minimum 20 years and Maximum 43 years as on 1st November, 2019.
Last date for submission of application: 27th November, 2019 up to 5.00 P.M.
Mode of Engagement: Selected candidates will be engaged initially for 11 (Eleven) months which may be extended for another period depending upon the requirement in the same terms & conditions.
How to Apply: Application/CV supported by 3 (three) copies of recent Passport size photographs/ certificates of age proof and educational qualification should be submitted in favour of Managing Director, Assam State Transport Corporation, Paribahan Bhawan, Paltanbazar, Guwahait-8.
Important Points to the Applicant:
  1. The shortlisted candidates will have to be appear for interview.
  2. Incomplete! Invalid appellations shall be rejected without any information and only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
  3. The date of interview for the shortlisted candidates will be informed through telephone or E-mail.
  4. Mere fulfilment of the minimum qualification will not vests any right on a candidate for being called for interview.
  5. Preference will be given to the candidate having experience in respective field.
  6. Application received after the closing date/stipulated time, unsigned, without proper document and prescribed format will be summarily rejected.
  7. Selected candidate will have to sign a Deed of Agreement for contractual engagement and may be terminated without assigning any reason at any time within the period of contractual engagement.
  8. No. TA/DA will be paid for appearing the Interview.
