1. Professor (under Surya Kumar Bhuyan School of Social
Sciences) - 1 (One) post
The applicant must be either of the following disciplines: Economics/Education/History/
Philosophy/ Political Science/ Sociology/ Social Work (On joining, the
incumbent will take charge as the Director in Surya Kumar Bhuyan School of
Social Sciences on rotation basis)
2. Professor (under Padmanath Gohain Baruah School of
Humanities) - 1 (One) post
The applicant must be either of the following disciplines:
Assamese/ English/ Sanskrit and Ancient Studies (On joining, the incumbent will
take charge as the Director in Padmanath Gohain Baruah School of Humanities on
rotation basis)
3. Professor (under Bhupen Hazarika School of Mass
Communication) - 1 (One) post
The applicant must be of the following discipline:
Journalism and Mass Communication (On joining, the incumbent will take charge
the Director in Bhupen Hazarika School of Mass Communication on rotation basis)
4. Professor (under Hiranya Kumar Bhuyan School of Science
and Technology) - 1 (One) post
The applicant must be of the following discipline: Computer
Science (On joining, the incumbent will take charge as the Director in Hiranya
Kumar Bhuyan School of Science and Technology on rotation basis)
5. Associate Professor in Economics - 1 (One) post
6. Associate Professor in Philosophy - 1 (One) post
7. Associate Professor in Education - 1 (One) post
8. Associate Professor in Commerce - 1 (One) post
9. Associate Professor in Assamese - 1 (One) post
Application Fees: The application should be accompanied by a bank draft of Rs.
1000/- in favour of KKHSOU to be drawn at Guwahati.
Last Date: The last date for submission of application shall be within
2 weeks from the date of advertisement.
Salary: Pay to be fixed as per UGC guidelines and fixation formula.
Age: As per Government Rule
The applicants who have already applied against some of the
above mentioned posts (Advt. No. R2/2019) need not apply again.
