Medical and Health Recruitment Board, Assam invites

from the intending candidates having Indian Citizenship as defined in Article 5
to 8 of the Constitution of India and having requisite qualification for
filling up under mentioned posts in Government Dental Colleges under Health
& Family Welfare Department, Government of Assam in the scale of pay as
indicated below and carrying usual allowances as admissible under Rules of the
Govt. of Assam.
Name of Posts: Reader in Government Dental College
Number of Post: 10 (Ten) posts
1. Reader
of Prosthodontics, Crown & Bridge, Aesthetic Dentistry and Oral Implantolog
- No. of Post: 04
- Educational
Qualification: A candidate must have a recognized BDS degree
of an Indian University or equivalent qualification with post graduate
qualification /Diploma of National Board in the subject of Prosthodontics with
4 years teaching experience after post graduate degree in recognized dental
college in the same subject
2. Reader
of Conservative Endodontic and Aesthetic Dentistry
- No. of Post: 02
- Educational
Qualification: A candidate must have a recognized BDS degree
of an Indian University or equivalent qualification with post graduate
qualification /Diploma of National Board in the subject of Conservative
Dentistry & Endodontics with 4 years teaching experience after post
graduate degree in recognized dental college in the same subject.
3. Reader
of Oral Pathology, Microbiology & Forensic Odontology
- No. of Post: 03
- Educational
Qualification: A candidate must have a recognized BDS degree
of an Indian University or equivalent qualification with post graduate
qualification /Diploma of National Board in the subject of Oral Pathology with
4 years teaching experience after post graduate degree in recognized dental
college in the same subject.
4. Reader
of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Oral Implantology
- No. of Post: 01
- Educational
Qualification: A candidate must have a recognized BDS degree
of an Indian University or equivalent qualification with post graduate
qualification /Diploma of National Board in the subject of Oral &
Maxillofacial Surgery with 4 years teaching experience after post graduate
degree in recognized dental college in the same subject.
Scale
of Pay: Rs. 131400/- to 217100/- (Academic Level-13A) plus other
allowances as applicable from time to time as per Govt. Rules.
Age: The
candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years
of age as on 01/01/2019. The upper age limit is relaxable by…
- i. 5 years for SC/ST candidates i.e. upto 43 years
- ii. 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years as per Govt. notification No. ABP.6/2016/9 dated Dispur the 25th April, 2018.
- iii. For Persons with Disabilities (PWD) by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of candidates as per Govt. Notification No. ABP.144/95/121 dated Dispur the 28th October, 2015.
The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the
basis of the Matriculation/HSLC Admit card/Certificate issued by a recognized
Board/Council and no other document shall be accepted in lieu of the mentioned
documents.
How
o Apply: Willing and eligible Doctors serving under Directorate
of Health Services (DHS), Assam and other Government agencies will be eligible
to apply and no separate NOC from the State Government will be required to
apply for these posts.
Process
of recruitment: The selection procedure will be notified
later on by issuing addendum. The Board will decide the provision for selection
in respect of any posts considering the number of applications received for the
advertised posts.
Application fees:
Application must be accompanied with required application fee of Rs. 250/-
(rupees two hundred fifty) only for General category candidates and Rs. 150/-
(rupees one hundred fifty) only for OBC/MOBC/SC/ST (P)/ST (H) candidate. No
application fee is required for candidates having BPL certificate and PWD
certificate. Application fee should be deposited only through Treasury Challan
in the Head of Account “0210-Medical and Public Health-01-Urban
Health Services-800-Other Receipt”. The fees are not refundable and no
other mode of deposit of fee other than through Treasury Challan shall be
accepted.
Terms
and Conditions:
- i. Candidates need not submit any testimonials/certificate at the time of submission of online application. However, candidates have to produce their original testimonials regarding educational qualification, Date of Birth, Caste, Treasury Challan, EWS, PWD, Teaching Experience etc. at the time of interview. Self-attested copies of all testimonials/certificates will have to be submitted to the Board at the time of interview.
- ii. Application form, which is incomplete in any respect, such as, without photograph and signature, is liable to be rejected summarily.
- iii. Only those candidates who fulfill all the terms and conditions of the advertisement in respect of the post for which they are applicants shall be entertained. Others need not apply.
- iv. The Board reserves the right to cancel, alter or modify the advertisement or other terms and conditions of the advertisement without any prior notice.
- v. All other matters which are not specifically provided in this advertisement shall be decided by the Board.
