NOTIFICATION
For Admission to 1st Semester of B.Tech. Programme for Academic
Session 2020-21 in the Engineering colleges of Assam, As authorized by the
Govt. of Assam, the Combined Entrance Examination (CEE- 2020) shall be
conducted by Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU), Guwahati. for
admission to Engineering Colleges of Assam as per the following schedule:
A. Last Date for online submission of Applications: JUNE 20, 2020
B. Issue of Admit cards online: September 15, 2020 (till the date of day of Examination)
C. Date for CEE 2020 examination: September 20, 2020
D. Examination Timings: 11A.M – 2P.M
E. Declaration of results: On or before 30th September 2020
Examination Centers:
1. Silchar
2. Bongaigaon
3. Nalbari
4. Lakhimpur
5. Guwahati
6. Tezpur
7. Nagaon
8. Jorhat
9. Dibrugarh
Syllabus: The CEE-2020 will be conducted as per the latest syllabus of Assam Higher Secondary Education Council.
Paper shall be of three (3) hours duration and shall contain 120 multiple choice questions each carrying one mark. Four (4) marks will be awarded for every right answer and one (1) mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
The examination will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) Type and comprise of a Single Paper of 3 (three) hours duration with following distribution:
a) Mathematics : 40 Questions
b) Physics : 40 Questions
c) Chemistry : 40 Questions
Medium of Entrance Test: The question paper contains questions both in English and Assamese.
Admit Card: The Candidate will be able to download his/her admit card from the University website www.astu.ac.in from September 15, 2020 (till the date of day of Examination).
