Deputy Commissioner, Kamrup Recruitment 2020: Junior Assistant [02 posts]

Applications are hereby invited from intending candidates for filling up the following sanctioned vacant of Junior Assistant under Sub-Divisional Planning Office, Kamrup, Amingaon In the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kamrup, Amingaon.

1. Name of the post- Junior Assistant.
2. No. of post- 02, UR-01, OBC/MOBC-01
3. Scale of pay- Rs. 14.000- 49.000 + Grade pay Rs 6200/-
4. Reservation- Nil

Age Limit: Candidate must not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 44 years of age on 01.01.2020. The Upper age limit is relaxable for SC & ST candidates as per the existing Govt. norms CM No.ABP,06/2016/4 dated 03/03/2016. 

Nationality: Candidate must be a citizen of India.

Educational qualification-

1. The minimum educational qualification of the candidate shall be a graduate in Arts/Science/Commerce from a recognized state/central university or a degree equivalent there through and recognized by the State Central Govt.
2. Candidate must have proficiency in basic computer applications like Ms Windows. Linux, MAC, EXCEL, PowerPoint, DTP (English and Assamese) and the internet processing etc.
3. Candidate must possess a minimum 6 months diploma in Computer Application from an institute recognized by State/Central Government.

The application must be accompanied with the following-

1. Attested copies of all certificates of educational and other qualifications, age, caste along with other testimonials.
2. Two copies of the recent passport photographs duly attested by Gazetted Officer.
3. The applicants will enclose a self-addressed envelope affixing postal stamp of Rs. 5/-along with the applications.
4. Application and other documents should be put inside an envelope on which the applicant should clearly mention the post applied for.
5. All appointments will be made subject to Police verification report as per procedure.
6. No TA) DA will be admissible for appearing in the Written Test 1 Computer proficiency Test (practical)
7. Canvassing directly or indirectly in any form will disqualify the candidature of the candidate.
8. The unsigned or incomplete applications and the applications submitted after the schedule date will not be accepted.
9. The candidate who will qualify in the written test will be called for Computer Proficiency Test (Practical).

Procedure for selection:

The applications for the post Junior Assistant , whose application are found in order will be called for objective types of Witten Test examination comprising of 30o marks as follows:

1. General English: 75 Marks
2. General Knowledge: 50 Marks
3. Quantitative Aptitude: 25 Marks
4. Knowledge of computer (Theory): 50 Marks
5. Language skills in Assamese/Bodo/Bengali/ Alternative English: 50 marks
6. Computer Proficiency ( Practical): 50 Marks

TOTAL : 300 Marks

Candidates shall have to exercise their choice of language i.e either Assamese & Bodo/Bengali/ Alternative English at the time of submission of application itself and the choice once exercised shall be final.

The candidates who qualified in the written test will be called for Computer proficiency test (Practical).
