NEIGRIHMS B.Sc. Nursing Admission 2020

North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS), Shillong has invited applications from suitable candidates for admission into B.Sc nursing courses of academic session 2020 in it. The candidates who are interested and willing to do B.Sc. nursing after HS can apply for the same.

Name of the Course: B.Sc. Nursing

No of seats: 50 seats

Duration: Four years including six months Internship Programmes.

Educational Qualification

• i) Should have passed 10+2 Examination with Science Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) and English Core / English Elective from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent board.
• ii) Should secure an aggregate of 45% or more marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) and English.

Age Limit: Should have completed the minimum age of 17 years as on or before 31st December 2020 and not exceeding the maximum age of 25 years as on 31st December 2020.

Application Fee

Application fee is Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand) Only (inclusive of Bank Charges).

Candidates after downloading Application Form from the Institute’s website (www.neigrihms.gov.in) may deposit the fee through NEFT from any Nationalized Bank in the Institute’s account by filling up the following details:

• 1. EXAMINATION FEE: Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand) Only (inclusive of Bank Charges) Prospectus and Application Form is available in the Institute website at www.neigrihms.gov.in
• 2. Name of the Account : “PRINCIPAL NURSING COLLEGE OF NEIGRIHMS”
• 3. Account Number : “30270200000002”
• 4. IFSC: “BARB0MAWDIA” below and submit/send the Filled in Application Form along with the Original NEFT Counterfoil (Please retain with you a Candidate copy of NEFT Counterfoil) to “Examination Cell, NEIGRIHMS, Director’s Block, P. O. – Mawdiangdiang, Shillong – 793018, Meghalaya”.

How to Apply:

• Prospectus cum Application Form will be available in NEIGRIHMS website at www.neigrihms.gov.in w.e.f. 18th June, 2020 to 17th July, 2020.
• a. Duly filled up application forms can be dropped in at the Box placed outside the Examination Cell, Director’s Block, NEIGRIHMS on or before 17th July, 2020 before 5:00 PM addressed to “Examination Cell, NEIGRIHMS, Director’s Block, P.O. – Mawdiangdiang, Shillong – 793018”.
• b. Forms can also be sent by post addressed to “Examination Cell, NEIGRIHMS, Director’s Block, P.O. – Mawdiangdiang, Shillong – 793018” and should reach by 17th July, 2020 before 5:00 PM.

Entrance Test Centre

The Written Entrance Examination for admission to the B. Sc. Nursing Course will be conducted in Shillong only.

• Status of Registration including rejection/ deficiencies in application on NEIGRIHMS website: 31st July 2020
• Date of issue of Admit Card: 10th August 2020
• Date of issue of Duplicate Admit Card: 7th September 2020 – 12th September 2020 (11:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m)
• Date of Entrance Examination: 13th September 2020 [10:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m]
• Expected date of the Result of the Entrance Test: On or Before 19th September 2020
• Counseling and admission: 29th September 2020
• Commencement of the session: 5th October 2020
