Social Welfare Department Assam Recruitment 2021:
1. Post Name: LDA cum Typist
No. of Posts: 64 [UR: 12, OBC/MOBC: 25, SC: 07, STP: 01, STH: 13 & EWS: 06]
Educational Qualification: The candidate must possess Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or any examination declared equivalent by the Government.
Essential: The candidate must possess a minimum 6 (six) months
Diploma/Certificate in Computer Application from any recognized/recognize
institute.
Computer Knowledge: The candidate must possess computer skills for handling data and text on computer. The candidate should have proficiency in MS-Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet and Email including typing skill both in English and Assamese.
2. Post Name: Supervisor
No. of Posts: 74 [UR: 17, OBC/MOBC: 32, SC: 01, STP: 02, STH: 14 & EWS: 08]
These posts are Only for Female Candidates.
Educational Qualification:
(i) Graduate
in any discipline from any recognized University. Preference will be given to
graduate in social work/home science and related field like
Nutrition/Anthropology /Sociology/ Education/ Psychology etc.
Or
(ii) Instructors and Principals (Female) of Training Centres for Middle Level ICDS functionaries having Graduation in any discipline.(ii) Instructors and Principals (Female) of Training Centres for Middle Level ICDS functionaries having Graduation in any discipline.
Age limit of Social Welfare Department Assam Recruitment 2021:
- A candidate must not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years for unreserved category, 42 years for Ex-serviceman, 43 years for OBC/MOBC and 45 years for SC/STP/STH and 50 years for Persons with Disability (PwD) as on 01st January, 2021. The relaxation shall be applicable only to those candidates who have attained the necessary educational or other qualification prior crossing of their existing upper age limit of 40 years.

Document to be uploaded at the time of online application:-
- Admit Card of HSLC or equivalent examination for proof of age.
- Certificate, Mark-Sheet of minimum educational qualification for the post concerned.
- Certificate on computer proficiency for the posts of LDA-cum-Typist. In case of candidates having Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent from any Govt. registered UGC recognized/accredited Universities/Institutions, may also upload separate Diploma certificate in computer, if any.
- Certificate of caste from the competent authority in respect of the candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC/SC/STP/STH.
- Disability Certificate issued by the competent authority in respect of the candidates belonging to PwD category.
- Employment Exchange Registration Card/Certificate, Registered in any Employment Exchange of Assam.
- EWS certificate from Competent Authority.
