Indian Postal GDS Recruitment 2021 Details

Name of the post: GDS -Branch Postmaster, Assistant Branch Postmaster, Postal Service

No. of Posts: 4845

• Uttar Pradesh PC: 4264
• Uttarakhand PC: 581

 

Salary: 

• Branch Postmaster: Rs. 12,000/- per month to Rs. 14,500/- per month.
• Assistant Branch Postmaster: Rs. 10,000/- per month to Rs. 12,000/- per month.

 

Educational Qualifications:

• The candidate who wants to apply for the post should have completed matricuation, along with the marks that have been passin the mathematics department and should be read as english and local language subject.
• The candidate should have a minimum of 2 month computer's degree from a recognized institution.
• There has to be knowledge on cycling.
• There must be knowledge on the local language.

 

Age Limit: The age of the applicant candidate should be between 18 years and 40 years as on 08 March 2021. There will also be a discount systm of 5 years for ST/SC category candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.

Stage 1. Registration Initially candidate has to register in the Registration module once per cycle and obtain unique registration number

Stage 2. Fee Payment UR/OBC/EWS Male/Trans-man need to make fee payment. In Case of online payment, if no confirmation is received after the deduction of amount from candidate's bank account, candidates can await upto 72 Hours for settlement.
Offline payments can be made at any Head Post Office. List of Post Offices

Stage 3. Apply Online 

• Step 1 . Fill Application. 
• Step 2 . Upload documents. 
• Step 3 . Submit Post preferences. Preview and take print out.Completion of these three steps will only be treated as submission of application.
