Directorate of Social Welfare Department, Assam has invited interested and eligible candidates for appear walk in interview as per schedule mentioned below for the recruitment of IT and Technical Consultant vacancy on purely contractual / temporary basis for 3 months on renewable basis.

1. IT Consultant

 

Educational Qualification: BTech in Electronics and Telecommunications / IT / Computer Science Desired Skills and Knowledge: Specialized in VMware, Windows Server 2019, Cloud Management (AWS) & Networking, Sound knowledge of Windows & Linux

 

Experience: 8 years in relevant field

Age Limit: Should not be less than 35 years of age as on 1st January, 2021

 

2. Technical Consultant ( Gender / Women Sector)

 

Educational Qualification:

Master degree in Social Anthropology / Social Work / or any other related field from a recognized University

Good knowledge of computers with Internet

Preference will be given to the candidates having additional degree in Law / LLB or having domain experience in the legal issues and rights of women such as domestic violence, witch-hunting, trafficking harassment of women at work place, legal aid and gender issues.

 

Desired Skills and Knowledge:

Report writing and MIS. Ability to work in MS Office packages and working knowledge of spread sheet, presentation packages

Proficient in Assamese and English language

Good track record of working in women specific Govt. programmes / Flagship schemes and working experience in the field of women and child development related programmes with Govt. organization / NGO of national / international level

Planning, execution and monitoring of plan / project

• Well versed with Issues and Acts / legislations related to women and children

Strong understanding of gender issues.

 

Experience:

Minimum 8 years of working experience in related field of women and child with understanding of schemes / programmes implemented for women and child

Previous work experience of working with Government and field level experience in women sector specially in the field of women empowerment. Implementation of women related Govt. schemes / programmes, Gender sensitization etc

Experience in the training and capacity building on issues related to women and children

 

Age Limit: Should not be less than 35 years of age as on 1st January, 2021

 

3. Technical Consultant ( Social Justice / Disability & Senior Citizen Sector)

 

Educational Qualification:

Master degree in Social Work / Psychology / Sociology / Human Rights or any other related field from a recognized University

Good knowledge of computers with Internet

Preference will be given to the candidates having additional degree in Law / LLB or having domain experience in the legal issues and rights of person with disability, fair knowledge of different rehabilitative measures, laws on drug abuse.

 

Desired Skills and Knowledge:

Report writing and MIS.

Ability to work in MS Office packages and working knowledge of spread sheet, presentation packages

Proficient in Assamese and English language

Good track record of working in women specific Govt. programmes / Flagship schemes and working experience in the field of Rights of Person with Disability

Planning, execution and monitoring of plan / project

Well versed with Issues and Acts / legislations related to Drug Abuse / Senior Citizens / Homeless etc.

 

Experience:

Minimum 8 years of working experience in related field of Disability Sector with understanding of schemes / programmes implemented for person with disability

Previous work experience of working with Government / NGO / International Organization

Experience in the training and capacity building on issues related to Social Security
