Anglong has invited application for
recruitment of 09 vacancy of Junior Assistant, Demonstrator, Sectional
Assistant and Chowkidar (Grade-IV) posts under the Department of
Handloom and Textiles, Karbi Anglong, Diphu and West Karbi Anglong, Hamren.
Handloom & Textile
Diphu Recruitment 2021 Details:
1. Junior Assistant
No. of posts: 03 (Three)
Qualification: Graduate in
Arts/Commerce & Science from any govt. recognized institution with 6 (six)
months Diploma in Computer Application.
Scale of Pay: PB-2,
Rs.14000-60500/- + Grade Pay Rs.6200/- p.m. plus other allowances as admissible
as per rules.
Age: Must not be less than 18
years and not more than 40 years as on 01.01.2021 (Relaxable 5 (five) year for
SC/ST and 3 years OBC/MOBC).
2. Demonstrator
No. of posts: 03 (Three)
Qualification: HSLC passed
with 2 (two) years Certificate Course in Handloom/Textile Technology from any
recognized Institute under Govt. of Assam or Govt. of India.
Scale of Pay: PB-2,
Rs.14000-60500/- + Grade Pay Rs.6200/- p.m. plus other allowances as admissible
as per rules.
Age: Must not be less than 18
years and not more than 40 years as on 01.01.2021 (Relaxable 5 (five) years for
SC/ST and 3 years OBC/MOBC).
3. Sectional
Assistant
No. of post: 01 (One)
Qualification: HSLC passed
from any Govt. recognized Institute.
Scale of Pay: PB-2,
Rs.14000-60500/- + Grade Pay Rs.5600/- p.m. plus other allowances as admissible
as per rules.
Age: Must not be less than 18
years and not more than 40 years as on 01.01.2021 (Relaxable 5 (five) years for
SC/ST and 3 (three) years for OBC/MOBC).
4. Grade-IV (Chowkidar)
No. of posts: 02 (Two)
Qualification: Read up to
Class-X
Scale of Pay: PB-1,
Rs.12000-52000/- + Grade Pay Rs.3900/- p.m. plus other allowances as admissible
as per rules.
Age: Must not be less than 18
years and not more than 40 years as on 01.01.2021 (Relaxable 5 (five) years for
SC/ST and 3 (three) years for OBC/MOBC).
Selection Process / Syllabus of Handloom
& Textile Diphu Recruitment:
(A) Syllabus of Written Test for the Demonstrator post:
- General English: 20 marks
- General Knowledge: 20 marks
- Technical Question: 30 marks
(B) Syllabus of Written Test for the Junior Assistant & Sectional Assistant post:
- General English: 20 marks
- General Knowledge: 30 marks
- General Mathematics: 20 marks
(C) The qualified candidates in the Written Test shall be called
for viva-voce Test - 30 Marks
(D) There will be a viva-voce Test for the post of Grade-IV - 30

Duly filled up application form
must be Address to the Joint Director, Handloom & Textiles (Hills),
Diphu along with Council money receipt of Rs.20/- in case of general
category and Rs.10/- for SC/STH candidates.
Self-attested copies of all certificates in support of the following must be submitted along with the application form:
- Educational Qualification
- Proof of Date of Birth
- Caste/Tribe Certificate
- Employment Exchange Registration.
The application duly filled up in all respect and should be
submitted in sealed envelope marking on it as “Application for the post of
Junior Assistant, Demonstrator, Sectional Assistant, Grade-IV (Chowkidar)”.
