Other Criteria of Gauhati High Court Recruitment

 

Nationality: A candidate must be a citizen of India as defined in Articles 5 & 6 of the constitution of India.

 

Maximum Age Limit: Category-wise age limits for the post, as on the last date of receipt of applications, is as under:- 

• UR — 40
• OBC/MOBC — 43
• SC — 45
• STP/STH — 45
• PWD — 50

 

Essential Qualification:

(i) A Graduate from any UGC recognized university will be eligible to apply. A candidate pursuing graduation or awaiting final result need not apply.

(ii)The candidate must have adequate knowledge (reading, writing and communicating skills) Of the official language of the State of Assam (Assamese).

(iii)Preference shall be given to a candidate possessing knowledge of various cultures, histories, flora and fauna of Assam and other North Eastern States and also the places of interest and importance.

 

Employment Exchange Registration: The candidate must possess a valid Employment Exchange Registration Number for the State of Assam.
