SAMARTH Admission Portal

Govt. of Assam has launched a common online admission portal called SAMARTH Admission Portal for the admission process of BA, BCom, BSc, etc in online mode as per New Education Policy 2020 in Assam. 

 

"Samarth" is an initiative by the Ministry of Education started in 2019, under the National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology NMEICT-II (now NMEICT-III), with an aim to enable the universities and Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) through a digital framework for planning, management, delivery, and monitoring of services for students, staff, and other stakeholders. Under the project, the HEIs are provided with a fully managed, cloud based, comprehensive ERP that is custom built for HEIs of the country.

Date of launch of the portal: 14th June 2023, 6 PM

Name of course: Four Year Under Graduate Programme (FYUGP)

Duration of course: 4 years

The students aspiring to take admissions in all the government and aided colleges of Assam and universities can now use this integrated admission platform called Assam State Higher Education Admission Portal  to get admitted in the desired course and institution. Students would now not have to move from place to place for submitting admission forms.

Further, the students registering themselves in the portal can apply in ten colleges of his/ her choice. The admission would be given in the college and course of the choice of the student on the basis of merit. Apart from being convenient the portal would also save the money of the students.

 

How to Apply for Assam College Admission?

Students who have passed Higher Secondary (HS) final examination and want to get admission into Bachelor's Degree courses now have to apply online through Samarth Portal. The Samarth Online Admission Process has been mentioned below.

• Scroll down, go to Important Web-Link's section.
• Click Online Application Form Link.
• First Register yourself putting your basic details.
• Next, enter all personal and educational information as required.
• Upload your educational and other documents as required.
• At the end, submit the form. An acknowledgement receipt will be generated.
• Also, take a print of the submitted form and acknowledgement copy . 

Students can give 10 options of UG programme in Colleges/University in the application.
