Indian Oil R&D Centre, in
collaboration with the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), has invited applications from eligible
and intending candidates to recruit Research Associate Vacancies on
a purely temporary basis for the implementation of the research project
"Bio-chemical and technological innovations to develop high-value ‘green’
chemicals from 2G lignin and improve biorefinery sustainability."

1. Research Associate (RA-
III) - Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology
Educational
Qualifications: Ph.D. in
Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology with experience in biological
conversion of lignin into high-value products through Microbial Fermentation.
Age
Limit: Up to 40 years.
Emoluments: As
per DBT/DST norms.
2. Research Associate (RA-
III) - Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/Inorganic Chemistry/Analytical
Chemistry/Physical Chemistry
Educational
Qualifications: Ph.D. in Chemistry with a background in
Chemical catalysis of lignin to produce biofuels, biochemicals, bioproducts,
and energy research.
Age
Limit: Up to 40 years.
Emoluments: As
per DBT/DST norms.
General
Information:
- Applicants with relevant experience/background are encouraged to apply.
- The positions are temporary and co-terminus with the project/scheme.
- Qualifications should be obtained through regular courses from recognized universities/institutes.
- Age relaxation is applicable for candidates belonging to SC/ST/Women & OBC categories.
- No TA/DA will be provided for interview attendance.
