Kanya Mahavidyalaya has invited applications from eligible and intending candidates for the recruitment of 05 Assistant Professor, Library Assistant & Grade-IV Vacancy.

1. Assistant Professor: 2 Posts

• Assamese: No of Post-1(One) Category: OBC/MOBC(Roster point no-2)
• Hindi: No of Post-1(One) Category: OBC/MOBC(Roster point no-11)

Educational Qualification:

• The Educational qualification and selection procedure will be as per Assam Govt. Office Memorandum No. AHE.239/2021/68 dated Dispur,the 24th January, 2022 with NET/SLET as mandatory eligibility conditions. Candidates having Ph.D Degree in accordance with the UGC Regulation of 30th June 2010(minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph.D degree Regulation 2009) shall be exempted from requirement of NET/SLET/SET.
• The candidates must have minimum 55% marks (or an equivalent grade point scale) at the Master’s degree level in the concerned subject. A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided at the graduate and Master level to SC/ST/PWD candidates. The candidates must have to acquire qualification latest by the date of submission of their applications. Other eligibility like M.Phil/Ph.D/Seminar paper/Publications can be acquired and may be submitted on the date of interview and not beyond.

2. Library Assistant

No. of posts: 1

Educational Qualification: Graduate in Arts/Science/Commerce with computer typing skill in English and Assamese

3. Grade-IV

No. of posts: 1

Educational Qualification: Class VIII Passed

Age Limit: Age should not be more than 38 years on 01/01/2024.

However, 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC/MOBC, 10 years for PWD and also 2 years for Ex Serviceman is relaxed as per Govt. Guideline No. ABP.6/2015/51, dtd. 02/09/2020.

Application, accompanied with a non-refundable Demand Draft of Rs 1500/- (Rupees five hundred) only for the post Assistant Professor, Drawn in favour of Principal, Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Payable at SBI, Gitanagar Branch, Guwahati must reach the undersigned within 15 days from the date of publication of this advertisement (DOP: 28/08/2024).

For Grade-III and Grade-IV Posts:

Interested and suitable candidates who have fulfilled the above-mentioned eligibility criteria have to send their applications in Standard Form (Assam Gazette-Part-IX) along with complete Bio-data and also self-attested copies of all testimonials to the below-mentioned address by 12th September 2024 -
