The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued a recruitment notification for the position of 608 Insurance Medical Officers [Grade-II (IMO Gr.-II)] in ESIC Hospitals and Dispensaries. Eligible candidates who wish to apply may do so online.

Salary Scale: Level-10 in the pay matrix (Rs. 56,100 - 1,77,500) along with a non-practicing allowance as applicable to similar positions in the Central Government.

Eligibility Criteria for ESIC Recruitment
Essential Qualifications:
a) A recognized MBBS degree included in the First Schedule, Second Schedule, or Part-II of the Third Schedule (excluding licentiate qualifications) as per the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Candidates with qualifications listed in Part-II of the Third Schedule must also meet the conditions outlined in subsection (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
b) Completion of a compulsory rotating internship. Candidates who have not yet completed their rotating internships may still apply, provided that they complete the compulsory internship satisfactorily before their appointment.
Eligibility Conditions: Candidates whose names are included in the Disclosure List of CMSE-2022 and CMSE-2023 are eligible to apply.
Age Limit:
- For candidates on the Disclosure List of CMSE 2022: Not exceeding 35 years as of 26.04.2022.
- For candidates on the Disclosure List of CMSE 2023: Not exceeding 35 years as of 09.05.2023.
Age Relaxation: Age relaxation is provided as follows:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
