About AVFU System Administrator Recruitment

As per approval of the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Assam Veterinary and Fishery University, applications are invited to fill up one temporary position of System Administrator for the IT Cell of AVFU, Khanapara. The appointment will initially be for 11 months, extendable based on satisfactory performance and approval of the competent authority.

Essential Qualification

M.Tech with minimum 60% marks in Computer Engineering / Information Technology or related disciplines
OR
Master’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology with minimum 2 years of experience in a recognized institution in the relevant field

Desirable Qualification

Experience and proven expertise in:
- Server configuration and maintenance
- Networking
- Web designing
- Database creation and management

Age Limit (as on 01 January 2026)

Minimum Age: 21 years
Maximum Age: 38 years
Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST candidates as per Government rules
