DHE Assam Student Unique ID
Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Assam makes it mandatory to generate Unique ID for the student seeking Online Admission into BA, BSc and BCom starting from the Academic Session 2020-2021. In this regard, DHE has released a notification regarding Unique ID generation.
The DHE has developed a web portal to generate Unique ID for the students seeking Online Admission in various Institutions (State Universities/ Govt. & Provincialised Colleges) under Higher Education (General). Students need to generate the Unique ID in the Office Web Portal https://directorateofhighereducation.assam.gov.in even if they already have filled up the admission form or already taken admission.
Generation of Unique ID by students is compulsory for Online Admission.

How to Generate DHE Assam Student Unique ID?
Students can apply for the DHE Online Unique ID via the official website of the Directorate of Higher Education, Assam. To complete the application process for a Unique ID for Online Admission, please follow the steps outlined below.
Step 1: Scroll down to the section labeled important web links.
Step 2: Click on the link that says Generate Unique ID.
Step 3: Fill in all required information, including Personal Information, Examination & Course Information, and Bank Account Details as specified in the form.
Step 4: Check the box for the “I certify…” statement and then click the Submit button.
Step 5: Upon successful registration, you will receive your unique ID, and a confirmation message will be sent to your mobile number. It is important to record your generated Unique ID for future reference.
Students who obtained their Unique ID in the previous academic session are not required to generate a new one; the same ID can be utilized for the current academic session. If any modifications to registration data are necessary, they can log in and update their profile accordingly.

Here is some important facts about Unique ID or Admission id –
- Register your information to generate the Unique ID. You must fill up the data properly and correctly.
- Confirmation SMS will be sent to your mobile.
- The Unique ID shall be used at the time of admission into various Govt./Provincialised Colleges and State Universities under Higher Education, Assam (General)
- One student can generate only 1 (One) unique ID.
