Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has released an official employment notification for the recruitment of 225 Insurance Medical Officer (IMO) Grade–II posts in ESIC Hospitals and Dispensaries across India. Eligible and interested candidates may apply as per the prescribed procedure within the stipulated timeline.

Age Limit

Maximum Age: Not exceeding 35 years
Cut-off Date: 01 August 2024

Age Relaxation

Up to 5 years for ESIC employees and Government servants
Further age relaxation applicable for SC / ST / OBC / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen and other categories as per Government of India rules

Educational Qualification

Candidates must fulfill the following qualifications:

MBBS Degree from a recognized institution included in the First Schedule / Second Schedule / Part-II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
Candidates with qualifications in Part-II of the Third Schedule must also meet the conditions specified under Section 13(3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
Completion of Compulsory Rotating Internship is mandatory.
- Candidates who have not completed the internship may apply, but must complete it before appointment if selected.

CMSE Qualification Requirement

Candidates must be CMSE–2024 qualified.
The candidate’s name should appear on the Pratibha Setu Portal of UPSC as on the closing date i.e. 17 February 2026.
