The Office of the District Social Welfare Officer, Kamrup (Amingaon) under the Women & Child Development Department, Government of Assam, has released an official recruitment notification for various contractual posts at Swadhar Greh (Integrated Relief and Rehabilitation Home for Women).

Eligible Indian citizens are invited to apply for the posts of Resident Superintendent, Office Assistant, Multi-Purpose Worker, Cook, and Security Guard/Night Guard. The appointments will be purely on a temporary and contractual basis under the Women & Child Development Department, Assam.

Resident Superintendent	1	– Female candidates only. – Master’s Degree in Law / Social Work / Sociology / Social Science / Psychology with at least 5 years’ experience in women-related projects in Government or NGO sectors. – At least 1 year of counseling experience preferred. – Should preferably be a resident of Kamrup district or nearby area.	₹21,000/-
Office Assistant	1	– Graduate in any discipline. – Minimum 3 years’ experience in office management or relevant field.	₹17,000/-
Multi-Purpose Worker	1	– Female candidates only. – HSLC pass or equivalent. – Minimum 2 years’ experience in community or women-related work.	₹10,500/-
Cook	1	– Female candidates only. – HSLC pass or equivalent. – Minimum 2 years’ experience in cooking.	₹10,500/-
Security Guard / Night Guard	1	– HSLC pass or equivalent. – Minimum 2 years’ experience in security work. – Preference for retired military or paramilitary personnel.	₹9,000/-

Age Limit

Candidates must be between 21 and 40 years of age as of 01.01.2025.
Relaxation of:
- 5 years for SC/ST
- 3 years for OBC/MOBC
- 10 years for PwD candidates
