Educational Qualification
Manager (Engineering-Civil)
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Civil Engineering. A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in the field of Civil Engineering is required.
Manager (Engineering-Electrical)
A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Electrical Engineering is required along with 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
Manager (Finance)
Candidates must have any one of the following:
- MBA with specialization in Finance
- Post Graduate Diploma in Management with specialization in Finance
- Cost Accountant
- Chartered Accountant
- Chartered Financial Analyst
Candidates must also have 3 years of post-qualification experience in Finance and Accounts, including experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
Manager (Information Technology)
Candidates must possess:
- Full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Electronics; or
- Full-time regular Master of Computer Applications (MCA)
Three years of relevant post-qualification experience is required in areas such as database management, data centre operations, networking, ERP management, data analytics, software application development as a team lead, or web development and maintenance as a team lead.
Manager (Architecture)
A full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture along with registration with the Council of Architecture is required. Candidates must have 3 years of relevant experience.
Manager (Law)
Candidates must possess a professional degree in Law through either a 3-year regular course after graduation or a 5-year integrated regular course after 10+2. The candidate should also be eligible for enrolment as an Advocate with the Bar Council of India.
Three years of relevant post-qualification experience is required.
Manager (Fire Services)
Candidates must have a full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering, along with 3 years of experience in Fire Services.
Manager (Operations)
Candidates must possess either:
- Graduation in Science and a full-time regular 2-year MBA; or
- Full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
Three years of experience in airport operations, airside operations, terminal management, airline operations or ground handling operations is required.
Manager (Commercial)
Candidates must possess either:
- Graduation with a full-time regular 2-year MBA in Marketing; or
- Full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
Three years of experience in marketing, sales, business development, real estate leasing, contracts or procurement is required.
Manager (Corporate Planning & Management Services)
Candidates must possess a postgraduate qualification in Mathematical Statistics, Operations Research, Statistics, Applied Statistics, Economics with Statistics, or Mathematics with Statistics.
Three years of relevant experience in Economics, Statistics or Operations Research is required.
Manager (Corporate Communications)
Candidates must possess a full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism or Literature (Hindi/English), along with a postgraduate degree or a full-time regular two-year diploma in Journalism, Mass Media or Mass Communication.
Three years of relevant experience in Corporate Communication, Public Relations, media planning, press relations, branding, content creation or event management is required.
Junior Executive Posts
The educational qualifications for the Junior Executive posts are as follows:
Junior Executive (Finance): MBA/PGDM in Finance, Cost Accountant, Chartered Accountant or Chartered Financial Analyst.
Junior Executive (Law): Professional Degree in Law through a 3-year regular course after graduation or a 5-year integrated regular course after 10+2. Candidates should be eligible for enrolment as an Advocate with the Bar Council of India.
Junior Executive (Operations): Graduation in Science with a full-time regular 2-year MBA, or a full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
Junior Executive (Survey & Cartography): Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering/Technology, or Master’s Degree in Geography, Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems, Geo-informatics or Geomatics.
No prior work experience is required for the Junior Executive posts.
Age Limit
The age limit will be calculated as on 07 September 2026.
- Manager: Maximum 32 years
- Junior Executive: Maximum 27 years
Age Relaxation
- SC/ST candidates: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates: 3 years
- PwBD candidates: 10 years, where applicable
- Eligible Ex-Servicemen: Up to 5 years
- Regular AAI employees who have completed probation: Up to 10 years
Salary
Selected candidates will receive an attractive salary under the AAI IDA pay scale.
- Manager: Rs. 60,000 – 3% – Rs. 1,80,000
- Junior Executive: Rs. 40,000 – 3% – Rs. 1,40,000
In addition to the basic pay, candidates will be eligible for Dearness Allowance, perks up to 35% of basic pay, HRA and other benefits such as CPF, gratuity, social security schemes and medical benefits as per AAI rules.
The approximate annual CTC is:
- Manager: Rs. 21 lakh per annum
- Junior Executive: Rs. 14 lakh per annum

Application Fee
The application fee is Rs. 1,000, inclusive of GST.
The following candidates are exempted from paying the application fee:
- SC candidates
- ST candidates
- PwBD candidates
- Women candidates
- AAI Apprentices who have successfully completed one year of apprenticeship training
The fee must be paid online through the available payment gateway.
Selection Process
The selection process will generally include:
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Application Verification
- Interview/Subsequent Tests, wherever applicable
The Computer Based Test will be objective type and there will be no negative marking for wrong answers.
For Manager posts under Post Codes 1 to 11, an interview will also be included in the selection process.
For the Manager (Fire Services) post, candidates will also have to qualify in:
- Physical Measurement Test
- Driving Test
- Physical Endurance Test
The Physical Endurance Test may include running, casualty carrying, pole climbing, rope climbing and ladder climbing and descending.
The final selection will be based on merit, subject to fulfilment of all eligibility conditions and qualifying the applicable tests.
