TheJobinAssam.in publishes job notifications, admit cards, results, admissions, scholarships and related career updates for Assam and the rest of India. Readers often make important decisions based on this information, so this page explains how we collect, verify, update and correct our content.

Who We Are

TheJobinAssam.in is an independent information website. We are not a government website and are not affiliated with any government organisation, department or recruitment board. We do not conduct recruitment, accept applications, or charge fees for jobs.

Our Editorial Mission

Our goal is to give job seekers accurate, timely and easy-to-understand information so they can find opportunities and apply correctly, without having to read through long official notices.

How We Collect Information

Our articles are prepared from the following sources:

  • Official recruitment notifications and websites of government departments, boards, commissions, banks and public sector organisations
  • Official PDF advertisements, corrigenda and press releases
  • Assam Government gazette notifications and official portals
  • Reputed local and national daily newspapers and employment newspapers

We do not publish rumours, unverified messages or forwarded social media posts as confirmed news. Where information is expected but not yet official, we say so clearly (for example, “tentative” or “expected”).

How We Verify Information

  • We cross-check key details such as vacancies, qualification, age limit, fee, important dates and the application link against the official notification.
  • The “Apply Online” and “Official Notification” links in our articles lead to the official website or document. Links to our WhatsApp or Telegram channels are always labelled separately.
  • If the official notification is unclear or contradictory, we say so in the article and advise readers to check the official source.

Content Updates

  • Active recruitments: we update articles when the official source changes dates, vacancies or instructions, and we show the “Updated on” date at the top of the article.
  • Expired recruitments: after the last date, we mark the article as closed and link to the related admit card or result page where one exists.
  • Results and admit cards: we update these pages as soon as the official release is available.

Corrections Policy

We aim to be accurate, but mistakes can happen. If you find an error in any article, please email us at admin@thejobinassam.in with the article link, the incorrect detail and, if possible, the official source. We will review the report and correct confirmed errors promptly. Significant corrections are noted in the article.

Editorial Independence and Advertising

  • Advertising, including Google AdSense, helps fund the website. Advertisers do not influence our editorial decisions.
  • We do not accept payment to publish, remove, or change the ranking of a job notification, result or any other information.
  • Any sponsored or promotional content, if published, will be clearly labelled.

Originality and Copyright

We write our articles in our own words based on official sources. If you believe your copyrighted material has been used improperly, please contact us at admin@thejobinassam.in and we will respond promptly.

Comments and User Content

Readers can leave comments on our articles. We may remove comments that contain spam, personal contact details, abusive language, misleading claims or advertisements. Comments are the views of readers and are not verified by us.

Warning Against Job Scams

Genuine government recruitment never asks candidates to pay money to any individual for a job. TheJobinAssam.in will never ask you for money, bank details or OTPs. Always apply only through the official website given in the notification.

Disclaimer

Although we try to keep all information accurate and current, candidates should always confirm details on the official website before applying. TheJobinAssam.in is not responsible for any loss arising from the use of information on this website. Please also read our Disclaimer and Privacy Policy.
