1. Project Research Scientist-I (Medical)

Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess MBBS/MVSc/BDS from a recognized University.
Preference
Preference will be given to candidates having:
- Previous research experience in public health programmes/ICMR/DST/DBT projects.
- Experience of working in educational settings and multidisciplinary teams.
- Coordinating skills.
- Skills in drafting and editing scientific documents, official/technical reports and publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Good oral and written communication skills in English/Assamese.

2. Senior Research Fellow (Ayurveda)

Educational Qualification
- BAMS (Ayurvedacharya) from any recognized university is preferred.
- Valid registration with the related State Board/Council or Central Council/NCISM.
Other Considerations
Preference will be given to candidates who:
- Possess higher qualifications.
- Have previous research experience in public health programmes/ICMR/DST/DBT projects.
- Have working knowledge of computer applications.
- Have skills in drafting and editing scientific documents, official/technical reports and publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Selection Process
The selection process may include shortlisting, written test and/or interview, as decided by the competent authority.

The decision of the Selection Committee, subject to approval of the Executive Director, AIIMS Guwahati, will be final.
Important Instructions
- Candidates must submit the application in the prescribed format.

Duration of Engagement
The project has a duration of two years.
Successful candidates will normally be engaged initially for 12 months or less, depending upon the tenure of the project and functional requirements.
