Assam Public Service Commission has recently released the official notification of Combined Competitive Examination, 2024 ( APSC CCE 2024). 1. Preliminary Examination

General Studies-I

• Total Marks – 200
• Duration – 2 Hours
• Type – Objective

# 30%-35% questions will compulsorily be related to Assam

General Studies-II

• Total Marks – 200
• Duration – 2 Hours
• Type – Objective

# Qualifying nature, shall have minimum qualifying marks of 33%

2. Main Examination

Details of Papers for Main Examination:

Type of questions: Descriptive and Objective type questions

Total papers: 6 Papers

Total marks: 1500 Marks (250 marks each)

(i) Paper 1

• Type of Paper: Essay
• Marks: 250
• Duration: 3 hrs

(ii) Paper 2 to 5

• Type of Paper: General Studies
• Marks: 250 for each paper
• Duration: 3 hrs for each paper   

(iii) Paper 6

• Type of Paper: General Subject Paper on Assam
• Marks: 250 for each paper
• Duration: 3 hrs for each paper

3. Interview

After qualifying in Written Examination

Total Marks – 180

Total

• Written Examination (Paper 1 to Paper 6) = 1500
• Interview (After qualifying in Written Examination) =180
• Total Marks – 1680
