Educational Qualification
Data Administrator:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, IT or MCA with a minimum of 2 years of experience in database administration, data management, MIS reporting and ERP/database systems.
Programmer:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, IT or MCA with at least 2 years of experience in software/web application development, database management and application maintenance. Experience in Government or University IT systems will be preferred.
DTP Operator:
10+2 with a minimum 1-year Diploma/Certificate in DTP, Graphic Designing, Photoshop, CAD-CAM or Computer Applications and at least 1 year of relevant experience. Proficiency in English and Assamese typing and DTP software is essential.
Data Entry Operator:
10+2 with a minimum 1-year Diploma/Certificate in Computer Applications, Data Entry or Office Automation and at least 1 year of experience in data entry, office automation and digital record management. Proficiency in MS Office and online data handling is essential.
Remuneration
The maximum monthly remuneration is:
- Data Administrator: Up to ₹55,000/-
- Programmer: Up to ₹55,000/-
- DTP Operator: Up to ₹25,000/-
- Data Entry Operator: Up to ₹20,000/-
The actual remuneration will depend on the candidate’s experience and last drawn salary/CTC. A maximum hike of 30% over the last drawn salary may be considered, subject to the advertised maximum remuneration.
Contract Period
The engagement will initially be for six months. It may be extended for a further period of up to six months, depending on project requirements and satisfactory performance.
The engagement is purely contractual and will not create any right to regular appointment or permanent absorption under Assam Skill University Project or Assam Skill University.
Eligibility
Candidates must meet the prescribed educational qualification and experience requirements on or before the last date of application. All qualifications must be obtained from recognized Boards, Universities or Institutions.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the SAMARTH eGov Suite, particularly in Government, University or academic administrative systems.

Selection Process
The selection process will consist of:
- Shortlisting of candidates
- Computer-based practical test
- Interview
The computer-based practical test will be conducted before the interview. Only candidates who qualify in the practical test will be called for the interview.
Candidates must produce their original certificates/documents along with self-attested copies during the selection process when required.
