DARPAN Online Admission Portal for ASSEB HS 1st Year Admission 2025

Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) Division II (Formerly AHSEC) has developed an online system for admission into HS 1^st Year named Darpan portal for Students of Assam which will enable the students to apply online for the courses of Arts/ Science/ Commerce/ Vocational in different Colleges/Schools affiliated and recognized with Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) Division II (Formerly AHSEC) in all districts in the state of Assam.

Students who have passed the HSLC 2025 Exam conducted by the Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) Division I (Formerly SEBA) or any other national/ state boards are eligible to apply online application. After the completion of online application, a merit list will be published in the Darpan Portal accordingly with the admission will be done.

How to Apply for HS 1st Year Online Admission 2025

Interested Students who want to get admission into the Higher Secondary 1st year in different Schools/Institutions including Senior Secondary Schools/ Higher Secondary Schools under the ASSEB may apply online through Darpan Portal. The Students may follow the steps given below to submit their online applications forms.

Go to Important Web Links section.
Click on HS 1st Year Online Admission link.
A portal will open, Login using your HSLC/AHM Roll No. and Date of Birth (as per Admit Card).
Select the name of the school you want to take admisssion and fill up the online form.
Upload scan copy of photograph, signature and documents as per need
Take a print out of the filled up form, which will be act as acknowledgement.

Students or their guardians may check www.theJOBinAssam.in regularly for any new updates about the Darpan Portal 2025. You will be notified through the portal which institution(s) you have been selected for admission.

Important Date of Darpan ASSEB Online Admission 2025

Starting date to apply online: 17th April 2025
Last date to apply online: 24th April 2025
Preparation of merit list by institutes: 25th April 2025 to 26th April 2025
Date of Declaration of Merit List: 27th April 2025 (At 10:00 AM)# Acceptance of admission offer by students: 27th April 2025 to 29th April 2025
Confirmation of admissions by institutions: 30th April 2025 to 10th May 2025

DARPAN ASSEB Merit List 2025

The students will get seats in the schools/colleges according to their performance in the Assam HSLC/AHM Examination, 2025 in their application submitted schools/colleges. A student will be able to submit his/her application to multiple institutions for admission. The institute wise merit list of selected students will be published on the same portal a few days after the application process is over. Till now, council has not confirmed the date of release of merit list. After the release of the merit list, students will have to go to the DARPAN Portal and select the school/college of their choice. Note that Institute selection is a one-time and irreversible process so all of you are advised to proceed with caution. Also, students can change their subjects as per their wish with the help of their respective institutes.

How to Check Darpan Admission Merit List?

The Students who have already submit their application form in online mode in Darpan Portal for admission into HS 1st year under Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) Division II (Formerly AHSEC) will be able to check their names in the merit list after the release in Official Website of DARPAN. The merit list will be prepared by the colleges and schools on the basis of their performance in the HSLC/AHM examination. The authority of ASSEB has asked all the institution under it to prepare the merit list within the stipulated time period and published it. After that the students will be able to check it by login on the portal. Students may follow these steps to get their merit list.

Go to the official Admission Portal of DARPAN.
Click on the Students Corner link.
Now enter your Mobile Number, Date of Birth, Security PIN and click Login.
After that a dashboard will open. Click on Application Submitted button.
Now, you will see the names of all your application submitted colleges/schools.
Check below the name of the college/school, you will get the details about your admission request.
If you are selected, click on the Accept Admission Request link and accept your admission in the desired college/school.
