- For Hindi teachers with a master’s degree, Hindi Sikshan Parangat and Hindi Sikshan Nishant are considered equivalent to B.T. / B.Ed.
- Under the Assam Secondary Education (Provincialised Schools) (Amendment) Service Rules, 2021, degrees from off-campus study centres in Assam of institutions outside the State are not valid unless recognized by DEC under UGC. Degrees and diplomas from KKHSOU, IGNOU, IDOL under Gauhati University and Distance Education under Dibrugarh University are valid.
- The candidate must have a commanding personality, administrative ability, leadership skills and integrity.
Experience Required (any one)
- At least 15 years of service as Post Graduate Teacher in Provincialised Higher Secondary Schools / H.S. & M.P. Schools and Senior Secondary Schools, or
- At least 5 years of service as Vice-Principal in Provincialised Higher Secondary Schools / H.S. & M.P. Schools, or
- At least 17 years of teaching experience as Graduate Teacher in a Provincialised High School / Higher Secondary School / H.S. & M.P. School, or a combination of such schools.
