Eligibility for NEST Cluster Posts

1. JRF – 01 Post

• B.Tech / MSc / MCA.
• Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Experience in web development or a related field for at least one year.
• Freshers can also apply.

2. JRF (GATE) V2 – 01 Post

• Postgraduate/advanced degree in the relevant field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Civil Engineering or MCA.
• Valid NET/GATE score is required.
• Preference will be given to experienced candidates.

3. JRF (GATE) V1 – 01 Post

• Postgraduate degree in the relevant field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Grass Root Technology, Rural Technology, Biotechnology, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Basic Science or allied fields.
• Valid NET/GATE score required.
• Experienced candidates will be preferred.

4. JRF (GATE) V4 – 01 Post

• Postgraduate degree in the relevant field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Material Science, Polymer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Basic Science or allied fields.
• Valid NET/GATE score required.
• Preference will be given to experienced candidates.

5. CA/CS/Accountant – 01 Post

• Qualified Chartered Accountant or M.Com.
• Minimum two years of core experience in indirect taxes, particularly GST, in running a company.
• Practical experience in startup business impact assessment and IT impact assessment will be preferred.
• Experience in accounting is required.

6. Business Development Officer – 01 Post

• Bachelor’s/Master’s/MBA/PhD degree.
• At least two years of experience in HR functions, business administration or organisational development in project environments.
• Experience in organising and conducting online and offline training programmes.
• Experienced candidates will be preferred.

7. Technical Assistant – 01 Post

• B.Sc / B.A / B.Com.
• Experience in multimedia and animation work using Photoshop and Illustrator will be preferred.
• Diploma in Graphic Design, Print and Web Publishing is desirable.
• Expertise in social media handling.
• Computer knowledge is essential.

8. Office Assistant – 03 Posts

• Bachelor’s degree / 10+2.
• Diploma holders will be desirable.
• Computer knowledge is essential.
• Basic office skills.
• At least two years of experience working in a similar organisation.

9. Office Attendant – 02 Posts

• 10+2 / Diploma.
• Basic office skills.
• At least one year of experience in a similar organisation.
• LMV driving skills are desirable for one post.

Notification 2: Advanced Knowledge and Skilling Hub

IIT Guwahati has also invited applications for project staff under the project titled “An Advanced Knowledge and Skilling Hub” at the Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering.

Project Scientist – 02 Posts

Candidates should have either:

• PhD degree; or
• Master’s degree in Science/Humanities with six years of experience.

Assistant Project Engineer – 01 Post

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Design.

Laboratory Attendant – 01 Post

• High School pass.
• Minimum one year of experience.

Notification 3: COMERCE Project, IIT Guwahati

IIT Guwahati has also announced a Walk-in Interview for three project positions under the project titled:

“Developing Cooperative Modelled Enterprises for Revolutionizing Commercial Ecosystem (COMERCE), driven by blockchain technology, to boost organic mushroom production by application of state of the art smart IoT/AI/ML Enabled Solar Powered Commercial Mushroom Production (ISCOMP) solutions for the upliftment of ST Community of Nagaland.”

Eligibility for COMERCE Project Posts

Project Scientist-I – 01 Post

Candidates should meet one of the prescribed qualification and experience routes:

• PhD in Engineering/Technology/Science or Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology from a recognised university, preferably in Electronics, Computer Science, Mechanical, Civil, IT, Agriculture or equivalent, with three years of R&D experience in industrial/academic institutions or Science and Technology organisations; or
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology, preferably in the relevant fields, with 10 years of relevant industrial experience.

Project Associate-I – 01 Post

Candidates should have:

• Master’s degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences, MVSc, Engineering or Technology, preferably in Electronics, Computer Science, Mechanical, Civil, IT, Agriculture or equivalent; or
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology in relevant areas; or
• Medicine degree from a recognised university or equivalent.

Field Worker – 01 Post

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university or equivalent.

Candidates are required to appear for the walk-in interview on 11 August 2026 at 11:00 AM. No separate call letter will be sent to candidates.
