Educational Qualification
Applicants must possess registration under the Assam Medical Council, Medical Council of India (MCI), or National Medical Commission (NMC), along with the prescribed postgraduate qualification.

Super Speciality
Candidates should possess:
- MD/DNB in General Medicine for Medical Super Speciality departments such as Cardiology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Nephrology, Medical Oncology.
- MS/DNB in General Surgery for Surgical Super Speciality departments such as Plastic Surgery, CTVS, Neuro Surgery, Urology and Paediatric Surgery.
Preference may be given to candidates having DM/M.Ch./DNB in the concerned super speciality.
Age Limit
As on 01 January 2026:
- Minimum Age: 21 Years
- Maximum Age: 45 Years
Age Relaxation
- As per Government Office Memorandum dated 04 July 2023.
- Persons with Disabilities (PwD): Additional 10 years relaxation irrespective of category.
Salary
Selected candidates will receive pay in:
- Pay Scale: ₹57,700 – ₹1,82,400
- Pay Level: Academic Level 10
- Plus other admissible allowances as per Government rules.
