The educational qualifications, teaching experience and eligibility criteria will be as per the latest regulations and norms prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi, Assam Nurses’ Midwives’ and Health Visitors’ Council (ANM&HVC), Government of Assam, and other statutory authorities, as amended from time to time.

- M.Sc. Nursing.
- Teaching experience as prescribed by INC.
- Administrative experience as prescribed by the applicable norms.
- Ph.D. in Nursing is desirable.
2. Vice Principal-cum-Professor
- M.Sc. Nursing.
- Teaching experience as per INC norms.
- Ph.D. in Nursing is desirable.
3. Professor
- M.Sc. Nursing.
- Teaching experience as Professor/Associate Professor as per INC norms.
- Ph.D. in Nursing is desirable.
4. Associate Professor
- M.Sc. Nursing.
- Teaching experience as per INC norms.
- Ph.D. in Nursing is desirable.
5. Assistant Professor
- M.Sc. Nursing.
- Teaching experience as per INC norms.
- Ph.D. in Nursing is desirable.
6. Tutor
Candidates should possess any of the following qualifications:
- M.Sc. Nursing; or
- B.Sc. Nursing; or
- Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing; or
- Diploma in Nursing Education and Administration.
