The Samagra Shiksha, Assam invites online applications from Indian Citizens (as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India) for the under-mentioned positions under Samagra Shiksha, Assam on a contractual basis.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

1. Education

• a) Postgraduate degree in Child Development / Early Childhood Care and Education / Psychology / Education / Social Sciences / Development Studies from a recognized university.
• b) B.Ed. from any recognized university.
• c) Degree/Diploma in Pre-Primary Education from any recognized university or reputed national-level organization.

2. Experience Requirements

(a) Overall Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in development or social sector projects, with demonstrated ability to work in mission-mode initiatives.
• Prior experience in mission-mode early childhood care or education projects will be considered an added advantage.

(b) Relevant Domain Expertise

• Out of the total experience, at least 4 years of direct, relevant experience in managing projects related to pre-primary education or the foundational stage of schooling.

(c) Policy and Pedagogical Knowledge

• Strong conceptual understanding of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and National Curriculum Framework for the Foundational Stage (NCF-FS).
• Hands-on experience in child-centric pedagogy programs, with exposure to teacher training, program management, procurement, and community development initiatives.

(d) Technical and Analytical Skills

• Proven expertise in MS Office.
• Experience in policy analysis, research report preparation, and data-driven decision-making.

Age Limit:

• Not less than 18 years of age and not more than 62 years of age as on 01-01-2025.
• The age will be calculated on the basis of Matriculation/HSLC Admit Card or Pass Certificate issued by a recognized Board/Council.

Salary Details

Pay in Pay Band: ₹30,000 – ₹1,10,000
Grade Pay: ₹13,300

How to Apply for SSA Assam Vacancy?

The online applications will be received from 21.09.2025 to 02.10.2025. The posts are temporary in nature and the selected candidates will be initially engaged for a period of 11 (eleven) months only. The contractual engagement will neither be regularized under Samagra Shiksha, Assam nor will be absorbed against any job/programme of Government of Assam in future and no person(s) so engaged shall have any right(s) to claim for permanent absorption.
