Eligibility Criteria of SSC JE Recruitment

Nationality: The nationality of the candidate should be

A citizen of India
Subject of Nepal
Subject of Bhutan
Tibetan Refugee
Person of Indian Origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Afghanistan, Kenya, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam.

Age Limit:

The age limits for the posts as per the Recruitment Rules of various User Departments are:

Up to 32 years for Central Public Works Department (CPWD)
Up to 30 years for Others

Age Relaxation:

The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.

SC/ ST: 5 years
OBC: 3 years
PwBD (Unreserved): 10 years
PwBD (OBC): 13 years
PwBD (SC/ ST): 15 years
Ex-Servicemen (ESM): 03 years

Educational Qualification:

Candidates Should Posses Diploma in Relevant Engineering from a recognized Board.
