Assam HSLC Compartmental Exam 2026 – Apply Online, Dates, Fee & Full Details

The Assam State School Education Board has officially released the notification for the HSLC Compartmental Examination 2026. This is a golden opportunity for students who did not pass in the main HSLC exam to improve their results within the same academic year.

Online Form Fill-Up: 13 April 2026 to 25 April 2026
Last Date for Fee Payment: 27 April 2026
Last Date for SBI Challan Payment: 30 April 2026

Who Can Apply?

Students are eligible if they:

Failed in maximum 3 subjects
Scored minimum 170 marks in aggregate
Want to improve their result in one single chance

Exam Details

Candidates must secure minimum 30% marks in each subject
Both theory and practical marks will be considered
Internal Assessment (IA) marks will be carried forward (if applicable)
OMR-based exams will be used for core subjects

Follow these step-by-step instructions to complete your application:

Visit the official portal of SEBA: https://www.sebaonline.org/
Login using your HSLC Roll Number/User ID and Password
Click on “HSLC Compartmental Exam 2026 Form Fill-Up”
Select the subjects you want to appear for (maximum 3 subjects)
Fill in all required details carefully
Upload necessary details (if required by the school)
Pay the application fee:
- Online via SBI
- Or generate challan and pay at nearest SBI branch
Review your application and click Submit
Take a printout of the confirmation for future reference

Use your existing HSLC login ID & password
If credentials are lost, contact your regional ASSEB office
Schools must assist students in filling out forms
Exam centres will be notified later in the portal

Result & Future Scope

Students who pass will receive a Fresh Composite Certificate with updated marks
They will be eligible for higher studies in the same academic year
If unsuccessful, students must take re-admission in school

This is a single chance only
Exam will be conducted for selected subjects only
Centres may be merged if candidates are less than 50
