DEE Assam Recruitment 2025 – LP & UP Teacher [10,673 Posts]

The Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE), Assam has released an official notification inviting online applications from Contractual and State Pool Teachers under Samagra Shiksha Assam (SSA) for the provincialisation of 10,673 Lower Primary (LP) and Upper Primary (UP) Teacher posts.

This recruitment aims to support, strengthen, and improve the quality of elementary education in Assam as per the Assam Elementary Education (Provincialisation) (Amendment) Rules, 2025.

Eligibility Conditions

1. Employment Status:
   The candidate must be working as a Contractual or State Pool Teacher under SSA as of 30th September 2025.
2. Service Duration:
   The candidate must have completed a minimum of 3 years of continuous service under SSA as of 30th September 2025.
3. Educational Qualification:
   The required academic and professional qualifications will be as per NCTE norms and existing Government rules and conditions.
4. Category Restriction:
   Candidates must apply for the same category of post (LP or UP) they are currently holding as Contractual or State Pool Teachers.
