Assam SC OBC Scholarship 2025: The Directorate of Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes, Assam invites online application from the students belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) community of Assam through National Scholarship Portal (NSP) for both Fresh and Renewal for the schemes:
- Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC Students (Class-IX & X) [Component-I]
- Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC Students of Parents or Guardians Engaged in Unclean Occupation (Class-I to X) [Component-II]
- Post-Matric Scholarship for SC Students
- Pre-Matric Scholarship to OBC Students (Class-IX & X)
- Post-Matric Scholarship to OBC Students
Eligibility Criteria/ Documents Required:
For Pre & Post – Matric Scholarship for SC & OBC Students:
a) Caste Certificate: Only SC and OBC Community Students are eligible to apply for the scholarship and should upload the caste certificate issued by Office of the competent authority of their respective Districts.
b) Parents/ Guardians Annual Income Certificate: Income Ceiling – Scholarships will be granted to the SC and OBC community students whose Parents/ Guardians annual income from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakhs per annum.
The income certificate should be obtained only from the Circle Officer of respective Revenue Circle.
c) Bonafide Certificate: A Bonafide Certificate is required to be obtained from the Head of the Institutions to be submitted.
For Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC Students of Parents or Guardians Engaged in Unclean Occupation (Class-I to X) [Component-II]:
a) No Income Ceiling for the Students of Parents or Guardians Engaged in Unclean Occupation.
b) Unclean Occupation Certificate of Parents/ Guardians: For the Students of Parents or Guardians Engaged in Unclean Occupation, eligible students will submit a certificate from District Social Welfare office, identified officer of Local body, Civic Agency or any such authority as designated by State Government.
c) Bonafide Certificate: A Bonafide Certificate is required to be obtained from the Head of the Institutions to be submitted.
How to Apply for Assam SC OBC Scholarship 2025
- Students while applying for scholarships for the above 5 (five) schemes are hereby required to register themselves in NSP through “NSP OTR” app available in Google play store and perform Face-authentication for generating One Time Registration (OTR) number which has been made mandatory for applying for scholarship.
(For details visit https://scholarships.gov.in) - Aadhaar and mobile number registered with Aadhaar number are mandatory for generating OTR.
However for minor applicants who may not have mobile number, it will be mandatory for parent to provide Aadhaar. - Applicants are advised to give only that bank account details which remains in active mode so that payment of Scholarship does not fail as all the disbursement of Scholarship will be made through DBT mode.
The authority shall not be responsible for any failure of transaction due to inactive or incorrect bank details. - Applicants to ensure that they have a bank account seeded with Aadhaar number.
The above conditions will be applicable for both fresh and renewal.

ক) জাতিগত প্ৰমাণ পত্ৰঃ কেৱল অনুসূচিত জাতি আৰু অবিচি সম্প্ৰদায়ৰ ছাত্ৰ-ছাত্ৰীয়েহে বৃত্তিৰ বাবে আবেদন কৰিব পাৰিব আৰু নিজ নিজ জিলাৰ যোগ্য কৰ্তৃপক্ষৰ কাৰ্যালয়ে প্ৰদান কৰা জাতিগত প্ৰমাণ পত্ৰ আপলোড কৰিব লাগিব।
খ) অভিভাৱক/ অভিভাৱকৰ বাৰ্ষিক আয়ৰ প্ৰমাণ পত্ৰ: আয়ৰ সীমা – অনুসূচিত জাতি আৰু অবিচি সম্প্ৰদায়ৰ ছাত্ৰ-ছাত্ৰীসকলক বৃত্তি প্ৰদান কৰা হ’ব যাৰ অভিভাৱক/ অভিভাৱকৰ বাৰ্ষিক আয় সকলো উৎসৰ পৰা ৫০ লাখ টকাতকৈ অধিক নহয়। বছৰি ২.৫ লাখ টকা।
আয়ৰ প্ৰমাণ পত্ৰ নিজ নিজ ৰাজহ চক্ৰৰ চক্ৰ বিষয়াৰ পৰাহে লাভ কৰিব লাগে।
গ) বোনাফাইড প্ৰমাণপত্ৰ: দাখিল কৰিবলগীয়া প্ৰতিষ্ঠানসমূহৰ মুৰব্বীৰ পৰা বোনাফাইড প্ৰমাণ পত্ৰ লাভ কৰিব লাগিব।
অপৰিষ্কাৰ বৃত্তিত নিয়োজিত অভিভাৱক বা অভিভাৱকৰ অনুসূচিত জাতিৰ ছাত্ৰ-ছাত্ৰীৰ বাবে প্ৰি-মেট্ৰিক বৃত্তিৰ বাবে (ক্লাছ-আইৰ পৰা দশম শ্ৰেণী) [উপাদান-II]:
ক) অপৰিষ্কাৰ বৃত্তিত নিয়োজিত অভিভাৱক বা অভিভাৱকৰ ছাত্ৰ-ছাত্ৰীৰ বাবে আয়ৰ সীমা নাথাকিব।
খ) পিতৃ-মাতৃ/ অভিভাৱকৰ অপৰিষ্কাৰ বৃত্তিৰ প্ৰমাণ পত্ৰ: অপৰিষ্কাৰ বৃত্তিত নিয়োজিত অভিভাৱক বা অভিভাৱকৰ ছাত্ৰ-ছাত্ৰীৰ বাবে যোগ্য ছাত্ৰ-ছাত্ৰীয়ে জিলা সমাজ কল্যাণ কাৰ্যালয়, স্থানীয় সংস্থাৰ চিনাক্তকৃত বিষয়া, নাগৰিক সংস্থা বা ৰাজ্য চৰকাৰে নিৰ্ধাৰণ কৰা এনে কোনো কৰ্তৃপক্ষৰ পৰা প্ৰমাণপত্ৰ দাখিল কৰিব।
গ) বোনাফাইড প্ৰমাণপত্ৰ: দাখিল কৰিবলগীয়া প্ৰতিষ্ঠানসমূহৰ মুৰব্বীৰ পৰা বোনাফাইড প্ৰমাণ পত্ৰ লাভ কৰিব লাগিব।

- ওপৰৰ ৫ (পাঁচখন) আঁচনিৰ বাবে বৃত্তিৰ বাবে আবেদন কৰাৰ সময়ত ছাত্ৰ-ছাত্ৰীসকলে ইয়াৰ দ্বাৰা গুগল প্লে ষ্ট’ৰত উপলব্ধ “এন এছ পি অ’ টি আৰ” এপৰ জৰিয়তে এন এছ পিত পঞ্জীয়ন কৰিব লাগিব আৰু বৃত্তিৰ বাবে আবেদন কৰাৰ বাবে বাধ্যতামূলক কৰা ৱান টাইম ৰেজিষ্ট্ৰেচন (অ টি আৰ) নম্বৰ সৃষ্টিৰ বাবে ফেচ-অথেণ্টিকেচন কৰিব লাগিব। (বিস্তাৰিত জানিবলৈ https://scholarships.gov.in চাওক)
- অ’টিআৰ সৃষ্টিৰ বাবে আধাৰ আৰু আধাৰ নম্বৰেৰে পঞ্জীয়ন কৰা মোবাইল নম্বৰ বাধ্যতামূলক।
অৱশ্যে যিসকল নাবালক আবেদনকাৰীৰ মোবাইল নম্বৰ নাথাকিবও পাৰে তেওঁলোকৰ বাবে অভিভাৱকে আধাৰ দিয়াটো বাধ্যতামূলক হ’ব। - আবেদনকাৰীক কেৱল সেই বেংক একাউণ্টৰ সবিশেষহে দিবলৈ পৰামৰ্শ দিয়া হৈছে যিটো সক্ৰিয় অৱস্থাত থাকে যাতে বৃত্তিৰ ধন পৰিশোধ বিফল নহয় কাৰণ বৃত্তিৰ সকলো বিতৰণ ডিবিটি মোডৰ জৰিয়তে কৰা হ’ব।
বেংকৰ তথ্য নিষ্ক্ৰিয় বা ভুলৰ বাবে কোনো ধৰণৰ লেনদেন বিফলতাৰ বাবে কৰ্তৃপক্ষ দায়ী নহ’ব। - আবেদনকাৰীয়ে নিশ্চিত কৰিবলৈ যে তেওঁলোকৰ বেংক একাউণ্টত আধাৰ নম্বৰৰ ছিড কৰা হৈছে।
