Baksa District Judiciary recruitment - 27 PLVs Vacancy

District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Baksa has released an official notification inviting applications from the local residents of Baksa and Tamulpur districts for the recruitment of 27 (Twenty seven) Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs). Interested candidates must apply in the prescribed Standard Form as published in the Assam Gazette in Part-IX.

Terms and Conditions:

He/She must be a citizen of India.
The applicants should be literate, preferably matriculate, with a capacity for overall comprehension and should have mind-set to assist the needy in society coupled with the compassion, empathy and concern for the upliftment of marginalized and weaker sections of the society.
Teachers (including retired teachers), retired Govt. Servants and Senior Citizens, ex-defence personnel, M.S.W. students, Anganwadi Workers, Students, – member of non-political organisation, service oriented NGOs and Clubs, members of Women Neighbourhood Groups and Other self Help Groups or any person who fulfills the minimum education qualification are also eligible to apply for the said post.
Preferably the PLVs shall be selected, who do not look up to the income they derive from their services as PLV, but they should have a mind set up to assist the needy in the society.
The minimum age for the selection of Para Legal Volunteer should not be less than 21 years as on the date of advertisement.
The work of PLVs does not carry any salary, remuneration or wages except honorarium fixed by the Assam State Legal Services Authority from time to time.

Additional Instructions:

The applicants should submit their contact number in their application for further required communication.
Incomplete applications will be rejected without assigning any reasons. No application will be entertained after the last date fixed.
The decisions of the Selection Committee in short listing the number of candidates for interview and selection of PLV shall be final.
Selected PLVs shall be required to undergo training programme as per decision of the District Legal Services Authority, Baksa.
The list of shortlisted candidates will be notified on the official Notice Board and also on the website: https://baksa.dcourts.gov.in
Canvassing directly or indirectly will disqualify the candidate. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview.
