Age Limit
A candidate must be between 21 and 60 years of age as of 01.06.2025.
Retired teachers from any State Government / KVS / NVS / reputed CBSE schools may also apply.
For retired teachers, the maximum age limit is 65 years.
Educational Qualification (Guest Teachers):
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject/combination of subjects and in aggregate.
B.Ed. degree from a recognised university/autonomous institute approved by NCTE.
Proficiency in teaching in the English medium is essential.
Period of Engagement
Engagement will be for one academic year or until regular appointments by NESTS.
Extension may be granted at the discretion of the State EMRS Society.

Drawing pension: Last Pay Drawn – Pension.

Terms & Conditions of Engagement
Engagement is purely contractual for one academic year.
Cant Not claim for regular posting.
Duties will include regular classroom teaching, invigilation, student evaluation, preparation for events, and other responsibilities as assigned by the Principal.
Additional Conditions for Retired Teachers
Engagement not exceeding 10 months or until regular staff join.
Working hours same as regular teachers.
Entitled to 8 casual leaves annually.
Must submit a Medical cum Fitness Certificate from a registered medical practitioner.
Responsibilities same as regular teachers.

Applications must be submitted in Standard Form at the District Commissioner’s office of the respective EMRS.
Separate applications and interviews are required for each District if applying for multiple schools.
