The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has released an official employment notification for the recruitment of 117 academic and library posts under direct recruitment.

Educational Qualification & Experience

Professor

Eligibility (A or B):

Ph.D. in the relevant/allied discipline
Minimum 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals
Research score of 120 as per UGC Regulations
10 years of teaching/research experience at University/National level
Experience in guiding Ph.D. scholars

Associate Professor

Ph.D. in the relevant discipline
Master’s degree with minimum 55% marks
8 years of teaching/research experience
Minimum 7 research publications
Research score of 75 as per UGC norms

Assistant Professor

Eligibility (A or B):

Master’s degree with 55% marks
Must have qualified NET/SLET/SET, or hold a Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations (2009/2016)
NET exemption applicable for eligible Ph.D. holders as per UGC rules
