IT Guwahati Recruitment 2025 – Apply for Entrepreneur & Biodesign Fellow Posts
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has announced vacancies for Biodesign Fellow and Entrepreneur in Residence under the project titled School of Innovations in Biomedical Devices and Systems and Inter-Institutional Biodesign Center (SIBDS-IIBC) at the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
🧪 Vacancy Details:
1. Biodesign Fellow
- No. of Posts: 6
- Educational Qualification:
Applicants must hold a Graduate/Postgraduate/Ph.D. degree in Medicine, Engineering, Design, Allied Healthcare, Science, or Business.
Candidates must demonstrate at least one of the following:- A proven track record of impactful innovative products
- Passion for entrepreneurship
- Patents (filed/granted), tech transfer, or product commercialization
- Experience as a startup founder/co-founder/director
- Pay: ₹59,250/- per month
2. Entrepreneur in Residence
- No. of Posts: 3
- Educational Qualification:
Same as above – degree in Medicine, Engineering, Design, Allied Healthcare, Science, or Business.
Must have developed a proof-of-concept biomedical device or in allied fields and be looking to take it further to market. - Pay: ₹35,876/- per month

- Candidates must appear for an online interview scheduled on 26th August 2025 (Tuesday) at 3:00 PM.
