About AIIMS Guwahati ICMR Recruitment
The recruitment is being conducted under an ICMR-funded project led by Dr. Jaya Shankar Kaushik, Principal Investigator, Department of Pediatrics, AIIMS Guwahati. The project aims to evaluate shorter TB treatment regimens in children aged 1–18 years. Selected candidates will be engaged purely on a temporary basis for research purposes.

Educational Qualification
Project Research Scientist–I (Medical)
- MBBS registered with NMC / State Medical Council
- Desirable: MD/DNB (Paediatrics), public health research experience, biostatistics/epidemiology knowledge, publications, fluency in English, Hindi & Assamese
Project Staff Nurse
- GNM with registration in State Nursing Council
- Desirable: B.Sc Nursing, 1–2 years experience in public health projects, fluency in English, Hindi & Assamese
Project Technical Support Staff–II
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Life Sciences or Master’s in Laboratory Technology
- Desirable: 1–2 years experience in public health projects, fluency in English, Hindi & Assamese
Age Limit
- Maximum age: 40 years
- Cut-off date: 13 February 2026
- Age relaxation applicable as per Government of India / ICMR rules
