Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification
- Graduate from any UGC recognized university with B.T/B.Ed degree from NCTE recognized institution.
- For Science (Royal) – B.Sc (Royal) from any UGC recognized university and B.T/B.Ed from NCTE recognized institution.
- Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025)
- 18 to 40 years for general category.
- Relaxation:
- Ex-Servicemen – 42 years
- OBC/MOBC – 43 years
- SC/ST(P)/ST(H) – 45 years
- PwD – 50 years

Selection Process
- TET cum Recruitment Test followed by document verification.
- Candidates must produce original certificates during verification.
How to Apply
Candidates should apply in duly filled prescribed application form along with self-attested certificates, testimonials, and N.C. Hills Autonomous Council Court Fee Stamp of Rs.10 to the office of the undersigned from 26th August, 2025 to 6th September, 2025 during office hours. (Applications by post will not be accepted.)
In-service candidates should apply through proper channel with NOC from their employer.
CONDITIONS OF RECRUITMENT
- Not have “Not Clear (NC)” status in any qualification.
- The undersigned reserves the right to cancel or postpone the recruitment at any stage without assigning any reason.
- Local candidates will be given preference as per Govt. Circular No.HAD.110/86/24 dated 27/08/1987.
- Candidates must be between 18 and 40 years as of 01/01/2025 (age relaxation as mentioned above).
- Candidates should keep an eye on local news/media for updates regarding admit cards for the TET cum Recruitment Test.
- There will be verification of documents after the result of the merit list of TET cum Recruitment Test.
- Candidates must produce original certificates during verification.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the process.
- Physical fitness as per Rule 11 of Assam Secondary Education Service Rules, 2018 is mandatory. Candidates must:
- Be of sound health, physically and mentally fit, free from defects.
- Undergo medical examination before appointment.
