- School name must appear in DISE list (2009–10)

- Land ownership / land possession certificate mandatory
- Student enrollment data for last 3 years required
- Staff details must be filled in prescribed format
- Venture Degree Colleges must mention streams and departments clearly
Guidelines for Senior Secondary / Degree Colleges
Eligibility Criteria
- Establishment before 01-01-2006
- Proper Permission / Affiliation / Concurrence / NOC for streams
- Valid land possession certificate
- Minimum Enrollment:
- 25 students in Class XII
- 20 students in Sixth Schedule Areas
- Minimum Pass Percentage:
- 30% (last 3 years)
- 20% for Sixth Schedule Areas
