Eligibility Criteria
For Pre-Matric & Post-Matric Scholarships for SC & OBC Students
1. Caste Certificate
- Only SC and OBC community students are eligible.
- A valid caste certificate issued by the Office of the District Commissioner of the respective district is required.
2. Annual Income Certificate
- Parent/Guardian annual income from all sources should not exceed ₹2.5 lakh per annum.
- Income certificate must be obtained from the Circle Officer of the respective Revenue Circle.
3. Bonafide Certificate
- A bonafide certificate issued by the Head of the Institution must be submitted.
For Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC Students of Parents/Guardians Engaged in Unclean Occupation (Class I to X)
1. Income Limit
- No income ceiling is applicable under this scheme.
2. Unclean Occupation Certificate
Eligible students must submit a certificate issued by:
- District Social Welfare Office, or
- Identified Officer of Local Body, or
- Civic Agency, or
- Any authority designated by the State Government.
3. Bonafide Certificate
- Bonafide certificate from the Head of the Institution is mandatory.

How to Apply for Assam SC & OBC Scholarship 2026-27?
