About the Recruitment
This recruitment is being conducted as per approval of the North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council (NCHAC) for filling up teaching vacancies in various subjects. Only Indian citizens and permanent residents of Assam are eligible to apply. Preference will be given to local candidates as per Government rules.

Pay Scale
- Pay Band: PB–2
- Salary: ₹14,000 – ₹70,000 per month
- Grade Pay:
- Graduate Teachers – ₹8,700
- Intermediate Teachers – ₹6,400

Educational Qualification
- Graduate from any UGC-recognized University
- B.T / B.Ed degree from any NCTE-recognized Institution
- Subject-specific qualifications are mandatory (Hindi, Assamese, Sanskrit, Music etc.)
- Degrees obtained through off-campus / distance education are not valid, except those recognized by Gauhati University, Dibrugarh University, IGNOU, KKHSOU, IDOL.
