Other Eligibility Conditions

Applicants must fulfil the following conditions:

  • The candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined under Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
  • The candidate must have registered their name with the Employment Exchange.
  • The Employment Exchange registration number and date must be mentioned in the application form.
  • Candidates belonging to reserved categories must submit the relevant Caste/Tribe Certificate issued by the competent authority.
  • Candidates already working in Government service may apply through proper channel and must produce an NOC from their present employer during document verification.
  • Selected candidates working in Government service must submit a release order at the time of joining.

Candidates have to apply in the standard form published in the Assam Gazette Part-IX.

Applicants should specifically mention their mobile number in the application form.

Documents Required

The application must be accompanied by the following documents:

  1. Self-attested copies of certificates/diplomas supporting the educational qualification.
  2. Three self-attested copies of recent passport-size photographs. The candidate’s name should be written on the reverse side of the photographs.
  3. One self-addressed envelope measuring 5 cm × 11 cm, affixed with a Rs. 10/- postal stamp.
  4. Signed Medical Fitness Certificate from a registered medical practitioner.
  5. Certificate of Good Character from two respectable persons who are well acquainted with the candidate but are not related to the candidate.
  6. Employment Exchange Registration details.
  7. Caste/Tribe Certificate, wherever applicable.
  8. Age-proof certificate.
  9. NOC from the present employer, wherever applicable.

The name of the post applied for must be clearly written on the top of the envelope. The candidate’s mobile number must also be written on the top of the application.
