Marital Status
Candidates must be unmarried at the time of commencement of the course.
Marriage is not permitted during training.
Educational Qualification
(i) Flying Branch
Minimum 50% marks each in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level, and
Graduation (3 years) in any discipline with minimum 60% marks, OR
BE/B.Tech (4 years) with minimum 60% marks, OR
Section A & B of AMIE or Aeronautical Society of India with 60% marks.
(ii) Ground Duty (Technical) Branch
(a) Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics) – AE (L)
Minimum 50% marks each in Physics & Maths at 10+2 level and
Minimum 60% marks in a 4-year Engineering/Technology degree in relevant disciplines such as: Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Communication, Information Technology, Robotics, Cyber Security, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, etc.
(b) Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical) – AE (M)
Minimum 50% marks each in Physics & Maths at 10+2 level and
Minimum 60% marks in Engineering/Technology degree in relevant Mechanical or allied fields such as: Aeronautical, Mechanical, Industrial, Production, Power, Automobile, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Metallurgy, Aerospace, etc.
(iii) Ground Duty (Non-Technical) Branches
