Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed Class VIII (8th Standard).
Candidates who have passed HSLC (10th) or above are NOT eligible to apply.

Age Limit

Age will be calculated as on 01 January 2026.
Age relaxation will be applicable as per the existing rules of the Government of Assam.

Terms & Conditions

Candidates must submit relevant testimonials/certificates along with the application.
4 (four) recent passport-size photographs must be enclosed with the application.
Original documents regarding educational qualification, age, caste, etc. must be produced when required.
Candidates already in Government Service must apply through proper channel and submit a “No Objection Certificate”.
Incomplete applications (without photograph, signature, or valid mobile number) will be rejected.
Applicants must submit a self-declaration stating that:
- They have passed Class VIII.
- They do not possess HSLC qualification or above.
Any false information will lead to cancellation of candidature and legal action.
Canvassing directly or indirectly will lead to disqualification.
The Office of the Chief Judicial Magistrate reserves the right to cancel or modify the advertisement without prior notice.
