NFR Railway School Recruitment 2025: Apply for Part-Time Teaching Jobs on Contract Basis
The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has issued a notification for the engagement of part-time school teachers on a contractual basis for its Railway H.S. Schools under the NFR Headquarters Unit, Maligaon, Guwahati.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply online and attend the Walk-in Interview scheduled on 1st August 2025.

Salary:
- PGT (All Subjects): ₹27,500/- per month
- TGT (All Subjects): ₹26,250/- per month
Age Limit:
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 65 years (as per KVS norms)
Selected candidates cannot continue contract beyond 65 years.
Educational Qualifications:
PGT (Geography):
- Master’s Degree in Geography with 50% marks OR 2 years Integrated M.Sc from NCERT.
- B.Ed. from a recognized university.
- Proficiency in English medium teaching.
- Desirable: Computer knowledge.
PGT (Physical Education):
- B.P.Ed. / B.Sc in Health & Physical Education with 50-55% marks as per NCTE norms.
- M.P.Ed. (2-year) from a recognized institution.
TGT (Hindi):
- Graduation in teaching subject with D.El.Ed./B.Ed./B.El.Ed. or equivalent qualification.
- Must have passed Teacher Eligibility Test (TET).
- Competence to teach in required medium.
TGT (Fine Arts):
- M.A. in Drawing/Fine Arts OR B.A. Hons. in Art Ed. OR equivalent diploma qualifications.
- Competence to teach in English.
Note: Qualifications must be from NCTE or RCI-recognized institutions.

Terms and Conditions:
- Engagement is purely contractual for a maximum of 200 working days.
- No entitlement to perks, leaves, or regularization.
- Termination possible with 2 weeks’ notice.
- Payment will be pro-rata for teachers engaged for less than a month or during vacation breaks.
- No TA/DA will be provided for interview attendance.
- False documents/certificates will lead to cancellation and legal action.
