- JE Electrical: Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engg. or related substreams.
- JE Civil: Diploma or B.Sc. in Civil Engineering or substreams.
- JE Track Machine: Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Automobile/Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation & Control Engg. or substreams.
- JE Mechanical: Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Manufacturing/Mechatronics/Industrial/Automobile/Production Engg. or substreams.
- JE Diesel Electrical: Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engg. or substreams.
- JE S&T/Telecommunication: Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/IT/Communication/Computer Science & Engg. or substreams.
- Depot Material Superintendent (DMS): Diploma in Engineering in any discipline.
- Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA): Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Physics & Chemistry with at least 45% marks.
